First Kira had her gymnastics recital. It was adorable. It was everything a recital should be (I have a bit of an opinion): quick, free of charge, easy to see, and easy to park at. Plus there was only one mother who brought her five year old flowers (that's just not my thing). Bless Miss Cindi, the gymnastics teacher, who kept this recital very fun.
Then, we booked it over (changing in the car) to Kindergarten graduation. Although it was free, it was hot, crowded, and not easy to see. The kids sang some nice patriotic songs and recited the Preamble to the Constitution. It seemed like just yesterday I had taken her to Kindergarten testing. It flew by too fast. The next day she had a field trip to Salem Pond, and the whole Kindy shebang was over. Thus ended a very busy week for a pretty cool five year old.

She's darling! We just had a kindy-grad at the Nielsen home too. Wow... time flies! Hope all is well. I almost stopped by the other day (I was at Salem Hills presenting scholarships, but ended up having to get back to the office. Bummer.) Glad to see your folks made it back safe and sound. Happy summer! ;-)
PS... You're more than welcome to come tripping with us, anytime! ;-) (Church ball champ shirts are required however! Ha.)
Too fun! She is beautiful! I can't believe she is going to be a 1st grader!
I love the graduation hat! We will be going through all of the fun kindergarten stuff next year with Chloe. Every year just keeps going faster and faster, doesn't it?
She really is a very cool 5 year old. Kind of takes after her mom.
Next year, it's only going to be you and Jacey. What are you going to do?
