Backyardigans

These pics are of the annual game of Jump The River, a traditional game played at every one of Quinton's birthday parties. I think my mom came up with the game when we were kids.

This was one of the winners, our favorite neighbor. He's got about 20 lbs of pure Tongan muscle over Quinton, and man could he jump!

Jacey was pretty good, and she thought it was way cool to be one of the big kids.

Backyard baseball has been in full swing in this back yard. Jacey can not and will not be left out!

Gotta love it.

Jacey is sooo cute in the pics!! What a very fun birthday. Can't say I've heard of that game before. You'll have to give us the details.

You just get two ropes or whatever you can use as lines. You line the kids up and tell them that in between the two lines is water, and they don't want to get their feet wet. Their moms will be sooo mad (Quinton's group is a little old for laying it on that thick). Start with the ropes only about 1 1/2 feet apart, and let all the kids go through. After the whole line goes, spread it apart farther. If they get their feet wet, they're out. (We usually give them 2 chances). Keep spreading it farther and farther to see who can go the longest. Pretty fun.
