You line the kids up and tell them that in between the two lines is water, and they don't want to get their feet wet. Their moms will be sooo mad (Quinton's group is a little old for laying it on that thick). Start with the ropes only about 1 1/2 feet apart, and let all the kids go through. After the whole line goes, spread it apart farther. If they get their feet wet, they're out. (We usually give them 2 chances). Keep spreading it farther and farther to see who can go the longest.
